Hence, it is not permissible to agree on breaching the rules stipulated by the Law in regulating such rights, which may not be waived totally or partially. Article 6 of the Labor and Workmen Law provides that \u201cIt shall not be permissible to act contrary to the provisions of this Law, nor to other rights accruing to the workman under any other law, franchise agreements, privileges or employment contract of any other agreement, arbitration award, royal orders, applicable customs, or what the employer is in the habit to give to the workers in a certain area or areas. Hence the reliance by the esteemed Committee on invalid grounds constitutes an express violation of public policy and the promulgated royal orders (Labor and Workmen Law &#8211; M\/6) and a departure from the decisions made by the Monarch. Such provision makes it clear that the Plaintiff is entitled to challenge the letter of discharge even after the lapse of the seven days following the signing of same, which means such waiver is not final and is revocable. Plaintiff had relied on the existence of an express legal provision in his favor, which provision would protect him in case he signs any waiver of his other entitlements, namely the provision of
